sadly after 4 years very good return the mt-07 has been killed.
had a driver stop dead in middle of roundabout leaving me no place to go but into them.
even though it was a slow speed crash the head was damaged and forks bent so bike has been written off. bike had just over 8000 miles on it and...
yes torque its the soundbomb and i got it off ebay. it comes with all the bits you need. i did find though the leads for the horn where too short so i had to have the horn pointing down.
should also stop road muck and rain getting into it that way. its loud enough to get you noticed.
just...
it only flashes rapidly for about 3 seconds then stays on fully. you can make it flash for longer but i thought it was long enough so not to upset other road users.
in my opinion it does make people sit up and take notice in traffic as thats when most grab the mobile and are not looking whats in...
lowered mine with help from hyperpro when mt-07 was released. they changed the spring and internal fork springs which took 20mm off. you will also need a shorter side stand so the bike isnt standing up when you park it.
the hyperpro kit got rid of the bouncy front end and has made the bike very...

Fitting took about 2 hours as the kit is designed to fit as a direct replacement to yamaha original parts. cost for the kit is as follows...
i can tell you this. i have just got my bike back finished from hyperpro and it is now a missile.
the forks are 20mm shorter and the rear shock is 20mm shorter if your 5ft 3 you can now place both feet firmly on the ground. all the bouncy handling has gone from the front and rear, with the rear...
to be honest with you if all your going to do is ride on the road it is not worth the expense. if you want to go faster on a naked buy a monster 1200s or superbike.
it is and you will notice the difference. word of warning though if the shock has been set up for you make sure you got some sag in it because everything needed to move when you accelerate and when you brake.
if it has no sag the ride will be rock hard and the back wheel may hop or step out...
