The fueling on mine with Akra Ti was fine with the baffle in (and cut down) but very lean with baffle out.
Have now installed DNA filter too but had the fueling sorted at the same time.
So, it depends on how you are running yours.
I'm 5'7" with a 28" inside leg and as standard I could sit on the 07 with both feet pretty much flat on the floor - though that could have been my 13 stone compressing the standard suspension.
Paddling it about is very easy though as I'm used to bigger/heavier bikes that may make a difference.
Love my 07 and had it about 3 years now.
That may be because I'm coming down from big bikes and want something light and nimble but it has enough power to be fun.
Have upgraded the suspension on mine as the stock stuff is a bit soft and bouncy - cracking first big bike and a good place to start.
This of course may be corrected with the use of a Speedo Healer:
Speedo Healer V4
which then also comes with the attraction of having a little red button that remembers the highest speed achieved until you reset it, which saves you having to glance down at the speedo to see how fast you've...
There is a meet up and ride out arranged for Sunday 6th August
10.00 meet at Ace Cafe in London NW10 7UD
for a 10.30 rideout to H Cafe OX10 7LY
Hope to see a few others
Went to Dynotech at Bramley recently and spent about 4 hours fitting a DNA kit, Power Commander V and some dyno runs.
Also tried it with the cat out and although it made a little more power (half an hp) it added to the noise and as fueling was better with it in we put it back in.
So only about...
Went to Dynotech at Bramley yesterday and after a small hiccup had a very good day.
When I got there they told me that they had meant to call me last week to say that the stuff they needed to re-flash the 07 hadn't yet arrived so I was a bit disappointed as you can imagine.
However, they then...
1. Stock should be perfectly fine.
2. Akra Titanium with baffle in (or with a cut down baffle) should also be fine.
2a. Akra Titanium with the baffle out may be too lean and worth checking by getting a dyno/fueling run.
At least that's what it's like on my bike and I'm getting the ECU flashed...
As Simon at S-Tec said that he only had a generic map I decided initially to book at Seton (near Colchester). However as this is the other side of London to me (I'm near Bracknell) have now booked to visit Dynotech at Bramley.
Won't be there until the end of May but have heard good things about...
Assuming you're talking about the Akra Ti then yes, take the baffle out and cut the internal pipes down to near the base and then refit. It's louder without being anti-social.
Good luck and have fun. It is a cracking bike.
As banjo says, it is easy to ride and has enough performance to put a smile on your face without being stupidly fast but light and nimble enough to enjoy some lovely bends.
