Hey Guys,
Anybody else had this: on my ride home yesterday I noticed while stopped at a set of lights that the gear indicator was blank....thinking I was between gears, I let the clutch out a little...bike rolled forward - I was clearly in first, but the indicator was blank. Changed it up to...
Had it just over a year, 20,000km service due this week - no stalling issues nor engine issues, but I suspect my head bearings are gone - started noticing a weave from the front-end recently.
Sprayed the water pipes after they started looking crap, rear tyre changed after the original PR3...
Hi All,
I'm the least engineering minded person in the world - my ambition exceeds my ability a thousand-fold, but I managed to rig up a DIY saddlebag support this afternoon to support my Givi Saddlebags - paying $180 for Yamaha branded supports left me cold!
The best bit is that I can put it on...
Hi All,
Does anyone perhaps have a set of the Yamaha saddlebag supports that they could possibly measure for me?
I'm interested in the length of the support pole once it's attached to the bike - I cheaped out and bought Givi saddlebags instead of Yamaha ones, and I'm wondering whether the...
This may not be helpful - but I didn't want to spend the extra on the Yamaha saddlebags so I bought a set of (far) cheaper Givi ones.

My issue with Goretex (I have a Revit Goretex jacket and trousers) is getting the damn thing dry in the office once I arrive...any suggestions?
Once the outer layer is soaked it seems to take forever to dry out and ends up smelling like a wet dog.
As a result I'm experimenting with a cheapish...
I know this was long ago...but did you ever get sorted without the saddlebag racks?
I just bought exactly the same bags...but it does look as if I'm going to need racks
That may well work!
Alternately a wrap of neoprene around my frame sliders so that my boots don't slip off...gives me the space to stretch out the knees and hips!
That could help - I have been thinking about it - looking at the Airhawk at the moment after using one previously on a Supermoto...it's good for comfort, but prob doesn't add much height.
Ok, don't laugh...I'm wondering whether anyone has ever put highway pegs or (something similar which provides a 'foot forward' seating position) on a sportbike?
I've googled it not seen much, but I figure there must be other folks with my particular issue:
I've been doing a little touring on...
