Hello all,
MOT. Sailed through as you would expect with a bike that that has only done around (3K)
Embarrassed, to have done such few miles and hopefully this year will add a few more.
Intrigued to know of you boys and girls who have racked up a few miles and at MOT time, What has failed 1st...
I really feel a bit embarrassed asking this as I'm not a typical rider. Due to family issues and the mighty xt I've only covered around 2k since I've had her and only seen
rain once "the day I picked her up" ffs
Anyway, still love the bike and had no issues eg starts on the button and no...
Is it me? Or do others struggle to get a smooth change between these gears? The mighty xt and It seems effortless. but I do struggle with the mt and sometimes look like a bloody learner? Admitedley I don't ride the mt that much. But just interested if it might be an age thing?
Hello all,
Got my 2nd service coming up on Weds. Just wondering what it cost you all? Also they are doing the batt recall lead. Guessing it's just an oil change an general check?
Well out of my comfort zone here coz normally do all the spannering but keeping the book up to date. After this one...
Just a word of warning….I’m sure many will already know this, but I only just found
It from local radio.
If you buy a used bike/car that has road tax on it. As soon as you
Register it in your name “eg get new log book” it’s no longer taxed?
And you have to tax it in your name. That was well...
After CVSensei’s recent post on UK insurance.
Just thought it would be interesting to see how much it’s costing
you to stick your MT on the road per year?
Age: 50
Where: England
Cost of bike: £5,200, $7,820, E: 7,212
Road tax: £80, $120, E: 110
Insurance: (fully comp x 2 bikes)...
Just wondered if anyone has any info on said race this year? Or been there before? Me and 3 other equally old 50 types have just booked it. We are too girly to ride there.
So it's flying and all sorted staying at Rimini. Any info on local area , where to go etc much appreciated. Must add, we are...
Apologies in advance for not talking 07’s and not really knowing best place to post this?
I’m sure someone in the world will be able to resolve this problem.
1200 bandit: 1996 carbs obviously. I owned it for many years and then sold it to a mate around 7 years ago and it has been faultless all...
I’m sorry but this does really pee me off. In the uk there is a big bike show about to happen. Ok we know why they are doing it now and have for many years because it’s
Too cold to ride your bike up and cause you are in your car you will buy more stuff?
Well “organiser type dick££eds” Myself and...
Sorry to put put this on here. But if it will help especially new riders it's a result. (the gentleman was experienced)
This is on the news locally to me at the moment and hats off to the mother who decided to release it.
What a very very sad story
Mother releases footage of the moment her...
Been a dirty old tabber for too many years now. Had a suck on one the other day and was really shocked to how good it was. Ordered one "here next week"
Anyone out there with any good news stories? It seemed a bit of a "minefield" out there so never really considered it, but matey stopped as soon...
some old bird "I know could of been a bloke" but in this case was a young lady, nearly wiped me out earlier. Went to push horn button and I think I actually turned left.
That horn button seems really hard to find when you need it. As if it will help, but not ya norm bike place. Still best bike...
I know there is a thread on here ref "stalling" but I think this is relevant.
If you look in the manual It says 2 to 3 mm of play at the throttle ( maybe I'm wrong here, but that seems far too much?)
When changing down and blipping the throttle I have stalled it more than any bike I have ridden...
I'm sure many here are aware. But to the few who are not. Don't go shedding out 20 quid on your carbon tax disc holder, because from 1st Oct 2014 you wont need one.
Don't know if the link below will work but just google "tax disc 2014"...
I’m never going to take a backseater so what’s the point in having them on?
Makes the bike look better also. Why carry extra timber.
Anyone know the legal implications? I’m guessing it’s bolt them back on
For the Mot
I did. Was expecting to see loads of MT-07's on Yam stands etc, and took plenty of cash to purchase screen, rack etc.
Ok, the weather was perfect and we had a lovely ride/day out doughnuts/pint etc
But didn't even see a Yamaha stand? or an mt within the showground? Walked past a blue one in...
Ok I know it’s a disgusting habit which I’m not proud of but anyway…..
But I can't seem to get a good answer to this one and its puzzling me?
Is there anybody on here that smokes Old Holborn? In the last few weeks Tesco and sainburys have stopped selling it here in Norfolk for no apparent...
