I'm about to change my chain to a 520 120 link. 16T front and 45T rear. Anyone performed this change? How off is the speedometer. How's the feed back from the bike ?

It will make the speedo a extra 3 mph fast at 50 mph, this may help
Gearing Commander ?

This of course may be corrected with the use of a Speedo Healer:

Speedo Healer V4

which then also comes with the attraction of having a little red button that remembers the highest speed achieved until you reset it, which saves you having to glance down at the speedo to see how fast you've managed to go.

On ABS models, doesn't the speedo run off the wheel speed sensors, so wouldn't be affected by gearing?

On ABS models speedo runs off the rear ABS sensor. On non ABS models I'm not sure but the technical manual still refer to the rear ABS sensor in this case. Maybe the rear sensor is there even if no ABS is fitted?

I think on non ABS bikes there is a sensor on the gearbox, they dont have the wheel sensors.
