Hi from a lurker! After a few months of just drooling over pics thought I’d better say hello.
I’ve been riding a 2004 FZ6n, my first big bike for the last decade but poor health and the need to tour by trailer has meant needing a lighter bike. I’d got myself into the mindset of thinking it was going to have to be something small in stature and engine size and then read about the MT-07. 1km into the test ride and I was hooked and collected a Lava Red with ABS in April.
We are lucky enough to live in the French Pyrenees and this little bike is as brilliant on steep gravelly hairpins as the sweeping bends in the foothills.
My OH has an MT-09, but says he would have had the 07 if it wasn’t for his lanky legs!
