Have recently been on a tour of the Picos/Pyrenees and through Andorra riding down and back through France. I was concerned that it would be a pain riding down through France as we did a lot of motorway but I was amazed at how good the MT was all through the trip even fully loaded with topbox ,panniers, tent, the handling was great.I think it is a great all round bike Before I went I was considering buying a fully faired sports tourer for the trip but I'm glad I did'nt because I had so much fun on theMT we did'nt do big daily mileages
but even after 260 miles I felt I could have done much more.

Done a few 300 mile days on mine and ok the seat gets a bit hard after that
kind of miles but otherwise it does fine, very long legged, good at covering
miles.

Same here. I've done several 6 to 12 hours riding days. And as long as you take a rest every now and then, even the stock seat is as confortable as it were the one on my previous BMW R1100R. I was really amazed.
