I've done that too some time ago. Does sound better indeed. Nothing much at idle, but when you open throttle there is a nice deeper sound even with original exhaust.
Imo this discussion isn't leading anywhere. Both are right in a way.
1. Soundquality is very poor for these kind of things. So very hard to judge any exhaust.
2. What sounds best is just an opinion. Luckely we don't all like the same exhaust --> would be boring.
Just my 2 cents.
It's possible yes, but I would advise against it. The standard exhaust on the MT07 is a complete system fully welded together. So in order to use a slip on (rear muffler only) you would have to cut the standard exhaust and buy some extra piping. So possible yes, advisable no.
Nice, little better sound, but without ruining the looks. Maybe I should come give you a visit to hear mine next to yours as you live not too far from me :)
Little vid about painting an intercooler black. Intercoolers do the same, just that they cool air instead of water.

Very nice indeed.
I'd prefer some rubber aswell to catch the vibration, so using the OEM is a good solution. I'm not too keen about bending it though. Maybe there is a way to lower it entirely ? So basicly put a little piece of metal between the frame and the exhaust mounts? Just expressing...
Got my licence and the first few miles on my new bike. What a blast! It pulls like a train, dunno about corners yet as my tires are still new. But it sure feels light.
Happy as a child!
