I had a mt09, and I say the mt07 seat is better, sorry.

In the twisties you need to slide from side to side easily for the body movement on the corners . Total agreed with Shadowmonkey

Hi I used to suffer from a numd bum , but this was cause by wearing textile clothing . now I've gone back to wearing leathers , and the problem has gone away, I now find the MT 07 seat very comfortable. It may be cheaper for you, by trying different pants, like cycle shorts under motorcycle...

I agree, but maybe to much power for an off road trail bike, match it with a Honda transalp looking bike, now ur talking. But If they put this engine into a xt660x , reduce the gearing, so max speed 100mph but keep the toque and power , that would be the dogs nuts.

I am very lucky, I have both. I had the mt09 when it first came out, still on its standard ecu mapping, as I love the brutal delivery, always put a massive smile on my face when I pin the throttle, yes its very different to the mt07, the pegs are further back, and when a smart arse...
