During the last several days I noticed that the horn sometimes fail to emit any sound. It started as occasional failures where I had to press the button twice.
Now on the last ride it didn't beep at all.
Today I disconnected the horn, tested the voltage and it was fine at 12v...
could be the handlebar is too wide or too far out for your reach. Try lighten the load on your wrists by supporting your torso with your core muscles hugging the tank with your knees and pressing on your pegs.
I expect the fuel consumption to be high during the break in period. So I suspect your 1000 miles on the clock make the difference. Do you know what kind of oil they put during the latest service btw?
What I feel is the low and towards-the-front centre of mass makes this bike flickable compared to Gladius I learnt on. So I agree it tips quicker and that makes riding twisty roads more exciting.
