Anyone had the starting of tank slapping at top end .might have to put a few clicks on the preload

Was said tank slapping controllable if you were to keep throttling with the right amount of grip on the bars? ...if that makes sense? Or was it a case of "sod this" and shutting off the gas and scrubbing off the speed?
I've had the beginnings of a TS on a few bikes over the years and mostly they ended up relating to uneven weight distribution, like a topbox or tyre wear.
This sounds like something else though, very odd.
Maybe the 07 just needs uprated suspension before ringing it's neck whilst doing anything other than straight line action?

I suspect it was the limiter kicking in on reflection.never felt out of control at any point bike gave plenty of warning.just wanted to know if anyone had the same thing
