Radiator Guard

I have just fitted an Evotech version. Easy to fit, and very smart and it takes away the one ugly element of the bike.- the big silver radiator. The previous owner had a few stones damage it but not fatally.

Have you got any pictures Robodene? A radiator guard was something I thought about when I got the bike but never quite got round to. Did you get it for aesthetic or functional reasons?

I've thought about buying it since I got the bike. It's good protection for a large vulnerable rad, but it also now looks less of a lump. So for both reasons, really. The side covers are also great at minimising the size of the rad. It only took a few minutes to fit. I am very happy with it. I have Evotech crash protection too. I will get a photo organised.

I see that Yamaha are introducing a black radiator to the XSR 700 for 2017. And there are new colours for the MT-07 (the rad too perhaps?)
