How do you get the fuel pump working if the battery is dead? I've never been able to bump start a FI bike. I have a FI bike with a kick starter and starter but it won't fire with a dead battery. Now in the old days.................
I usually ignore the marks and use two 6' aluminum straight edges alongside the tires too ensure wheel alighnment is correct..My bike was delivered with the chain tensioned correctly and so far it hasn't chainged. My alighnment was also correct as delivered but the marks were out by a half on...
This bike is one of the first ones I've owned without a centre stand and the only one I own now without one.
I've already picked up a paddock stand and already have two aluminum straight edges for wheel alighnment
so I'm guessing that will work. I don't understand the screwdriver trick but...
I've also noticed a slight delay in starting which is unusual for a FI bike in my experience. Once running it's flawless but it does turn over 3-4 times before starting. Anyway, I'm certainly not concerned.
Congratulations on you Easteners finlly getting your bikes. I've been having fun on mine and haven't changed much. I have a little tail bag and I bought a track stand for chain cleaning/adjusting. Happy riding.
