Exact opposite for me! I did my test years ago. I had never ridden a bike then 5 day intensive on 125cc only. Started Monday and on Friday afternoon passed the test on a 125 and went and got myself a CBR600 at 4pm on the Friday!
Hello All
I wanted to try shorty levers but instead of giving Yamaha £200 GBP I bought these from an Ebay Hong Kong shop, £15 for BOTH delivered! Brand new, finish on actual levers is fine, the hidden black metal brackets not perfect but pretty good.
Take a look. Took all of 7 mins to fit...
Haha, I remember that power craze, now I'm on the other side of the curve and want useable road power! But, I still think that everyone who enjoys engines/bikes needs to own a 1000cc performance bike at least once and experience the acceleration buzz. Just watch out for others who won't...
Keeping it. As per my other posts, I've owned other (mainly fast sports) bikes and on real world roads in 2015 a 1000cc sports bike capable of doing 100mph+ in first gear is just frustrating! I've looked at this years BMW R1200R, F800 and also Ducati 821, Scramblers etc. In reality what more...

After using a new Audi with full LED (not HID) headlights they are awesome. The new VFR800 has a full LED light and Harley offer an aftermarket one. I'd love a more angular one to match the MT07. Maybe I need to buy the HD...
I know the MT07 was built to a certain budget, but after using full LED (not HID) lights on a new Audi they are awesome. The new VFR800 has a full LED headlight and I'd love an aftermarket company to design a whole new unit to replace the current one. Just fitting an LED H4 bulb into the...
I was thinking of these but anyone fitted a pair yet and how do you find them?
(Really I want them just 'cos they are nice to look at but trying to find a functional reason to justify it !)
20 years riding and lots of bikes, and always chose the best option at the time eg:
Living in North London = Vespa 300
Single bloke, no car = VFR800
Single bloke, with car and lots of spare time = Ducati 748SP
Married bloke, family, car and no more spare time ! = CBR1000RR, GSXR750
After getting...
