The early ones were like that even after a 1 tooth smaller
front sprocket but if the new one already has a smaller front
it would not be wise to fit a even smaller one if it's not bothering
you then leave well alone.
Yes exactly it came as quite a shock to me when I first rode one
Did a few hundred miles in company with one last year they match
the MT for fuel economy and are definitely more comfy.
