What size rear axle nut for the FZ-07?

It's 27 mm. I asked my mechanic friend who loaned me his 27 mm socket. I adjusted the chain tonight. It was a little loose. Someone mentioned they didn't like those brackets on the side of the swing arm where you measure tension and I agree. What happens is that they ride up out of the trench they are supposed to slide along. Not a biggie, but one more thing to deal with. I think my chain has been loose from delivery because I had checked chain tension but didn't read the manual carefully. You measure the play from the middle of the chain rather than the top like with other bikes, so it was out of spec.
