    Tyre life.

Hi fellow MT owners, I've been floating around on the outside of this forum since I bought my Purple bike a year ago. I've now completed 7000 happy miles on a bike which always puts a smile on my face. The OE Michelin Pilots as fitted to my bike seem to have hardly any wear on them. I've heard...

    Pillion

Took the MT-07 out yesterday and fitted my Pillion seat to the bike for the first time as the misses decided she would come out and enjoy the New Forest sunshine too. I used to take the misses out on the back of the Ninja all the time but wasn't looking forward to it on the MT-07 due to how...

    Replacing the OEM horn

A very simple mod to replace that piece of sh*t they call a horn  I don't understand why ALL bike manufacturers only give us a cheap excuse for a horn. One of the most important safety item on a bike. Anyway, here is how to easily replace the horn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbxtIkXm4Qo

    Paulie's FZ-07 SP: MotoGP Edition

I finally finished my naked race bike project! After countless livery designs, I finally came up with something that embodies that naked race bike look I wanted, while still maintaining a sense of streetfighter to it. I decided to pay homage to Yamaha's outstanding start to this years'...

    New member from Inverness Scotland

Hi all, Bought my first bike 5 years ago a Fazer 600 and have ordered my new MT-07 white ABS model today. Only 16 days to wait till I pick up my new bike. Tried the Honda CBR650F and the Triumph Street Triple but when I tried the MT-07 you just couldn't take the smile of my face.

Well, someone tried to nick my bike yesterday. To repair or not . . ?

Cutting a long story short, they whacked the bars to break the steering lock, appear to have tried to wheel it forward (presumably into a waiting van), found it had a disk lock on and abandoned it. Maybe they were attracting attention, it was a busy street in broad daylight. The casting around...

Year on and I still absolutely LOVE this bike

Bought my MT 07 a year ago and I can honestly say this is the best bike I have ever owned. Never fails to put a smile on my face. Only essential mod is the exhaust, Apart from that pretty near perfect.

I did something a bit stupid today....

Hi everyone, new rider and new MT-07 owner here. I was out for a ride today trying to get the miles in before my bike goes in for the first service in a few days (still breaking it in). I was on a country road and went for an overtake in 3rd gear (I should say at this point that my Yamaha...

What is the maximum comfortable speed of the MT-07 with a proper screen?

:) I mentioned on another post that perhaps I should wait for the 2016 MT-07 to see if it will have a fairing because I like highway riding. I've seen some information about screens, and I want to know what is the maximum comfortable speed with a proper screen. Which company would make that...

    scissor stand for our bikes

Hi all I have a ABBA stand and correct fittings, however you have to remove parts of the machine to actually use it. as you may be aware this is a pain in the arse when all you want to do is a quick lift and clean, which I may add on other bikes takes 10 seconds with this stand. so I am...
