Evening all
Under the pillion seat I have found a connector labelled Optimate.
Does the MT07 come with this as standard for the trickle charger or has this been added?
I am the 2nd owner of the MT07 and it came with quite a few tasteful and in my opinion essential mods, the best being the...
Hi all
I know there is a comfort option for this bike £163 for main and pillion. however the cage has a rather groovy pillion seat and I am fine with that as I don't tend to carry. I do need the main seat as my arse is killing after 100 miles.
I am in Cheshire and wondered if any one knew of...
I have removed my seat numerous times to access different components. But the last few times, the seat bolts stripped on me. One at first, then the other.
I was able to work both of them slowly and put them back in, but it seams that they strip very easily. Anyone with the same issue?
I've just finished minimalizing the rear of my MT-07 and thought I'd share some photos. The products I used were:
Evotech Tail Tidy
Yamaha LED Indicators
Ermax Seat Cowl
Bruudt Pillion Footpeg Blanking Plates (cheaper than others)

On photographs it looks...

However, i often take my girlfriend on the back, and she complains that the straps from one bag to the other that go over the...
Picked up the bike today having not been able to get a demo ride, first thing I noticed was how incredibly slippery the seat felt while wearing my textured pants. I might get use to it, i've only done a handful of miles after all but it's like sitting on ball bearings!! Any options out there?
A recall is going to be issued for some MT-07's due to the positive
battery lead being to short and a problem with a seat bracket.
Yamaha recalls MT-07 for potential fire risk caused by defective electrical wiring
Think mine is one of them.
I have seen the other thread relating to Gel inserts for the original MT-07 seat, but as I'm doing 120 miles a day, the uncomfortable seat situation after 40 mins or so is a problem I'm keen to sort out sooner rather than later and I want a long term solution!
For those riding reasonable...
